Kyoshu (挙手, “raising your hand” in Japanese) is a live polling and Q&A tool for meetups, talks and classes. The host doesn't need an account, and neither does the audience.

What you can run
- PollsUp to 6 options. Results rise on the big screen like placards going up. You decide when, and whether, phones see the results.
- Word cloudThe more people send the same word, the bigger it gets. Approve each answer before it reaches the screen, or let them through instantly.
- Open textCollect one-line answers and show the latest on screen, with the same optional review step.
- Q&A boardOpen for the whole talk. Questions are sorted by upvotes, so the one most people want answered is at the top.
- ReactionsFive emoji people can tap at any time. They float up on the big screen.
How it works
- Press “Create a room” on the home page. No account, no email.
- Open the big-screen view on the projector. It shows a QR code and a 6-character room code.
- People scan the code with their phone camera. Nothing to install, no name asked.
- Press “Show” on a question and every phone and the big screen switch to it.
What it doesn't collect
- No names, email addresses or location are collected. Each device gets a random ID.
- Rooms and everything in them are deleted 90 days after they're created.
- It's free because one sponsor card can appear in the room, always labeled “PR” with the sponsor's name. Sponsors only see view and click counts.
